The Pub

The Poppy & Parliament is an upscale English Pub located on the historic downtown square in the vibrant, up-and-coming city of Huntsville, Alabama. The Poppy was established in May of 2019 and the addition of the Parliament was opened in November of 2020. The facility boasts ample indoor seating as well as a beautiful patio space. Our menu focuses primarily on upscale English and Irish fare, selections of perfectly grilled steaks, fruits of the ocean, house-cured charcuterie, and beautiful warm salads. We continually rotate blackboard specials nightly which consist of hand-carved steaks, fresh seafood, and delicate desserts. We are eager to include local and seasonal ingredients on our menu and constantly looking to better ourselves to please the public in every way possible. We specialize in imported draft beers, cask ales, craft cocktails, and an adventurous wine list. Our pub, with its authentic décor and warm inviting ambiance will make you feel like you are across the pond. 

Gourmet Store & Butcher Shoppe

The Poppy and Parliament  is also home to a traditional British inspired gourmet store as well as a butcher shoppe focusing on custom meat cuts, sausages and charcuterie. Our onsite gourmet store is where we are able to pass on our creativity and passion to you, the customer. It is this drive and adventure that enables us to import many exceptional products from all over Europe.

Here at The Poppy & Parliament we pride ourselves on the hand-selected antibiotic free Braveheart beef, Allegiance pork, and our domestic lamb that customers can purchase from our artisan butcher shoppe. We hand cut all of our meats in house and use it to create a number of signature dishes exclusively for The Poppy & Parliament and it’s loyal customers.
